Join us at this year’s Walk of Survivorship in an expression of solidarity – whether you are a hurricane or cancer survivor.
Put on your Herculean Hurricane sneakers and wear whatever you would like – a pink n’ teal t-shirt or a costume. It is a family affair – pets, wagons, and strollers  welcome!

GIFT OF LIFE SURVIVORS SHARE THEIR STORIES

“I’m a single mom of three children who has worked my whole life, but I don’t have health insurance. I’ve donated to the Gift of Life in the past, never knowing that I might need that help someday. You can’t measure the kindness I’ve felt from this program. I might have died without that mammogram.”

– Margaret McReynolds

“My experience with the Gift of Life was wonderful, and I am so grateful that they were there to help me. Their supportive staff provided compassion and care throughout my treatment. I am so blessed that the Gift of Life caught my cancer early, before it could spread. This is the best program in our community, and I encourage other women to be screened.”

– Janice Smith

“Cancer is bad, but my life is forever changed for the better because of the love and support I have received. If you don’t have insurance, the Gift of Life will help you get your mammogram. It may even save your life, like it’s doing for me.”

– Lori Odom
